Fisher DVC2000 digital valve controller working priciple
Fisher DVC2000 intelligent positioner is based on the control signal from the controller, through the terminal box into the printed circuit board assembly, read and processed by the microprocessor, converted into an analog signal, and then sent to the I/P converter.
The magnetic attraction between the coil and the armature of the I/P converter will change with the change of the signal, which will affect the distance between the nozzle baffles and change the nozzle back pressure. This back pressure is amplified by the amplifier and passed to the actuator, through which the position of the valve stem is changed. The valve travel sensor senses the change in the position of the valve stem through the feedback rod and feeds this signal back to the printed circuit board component to participate in the calculation.
When the valve stem position reaches the correct position, the valve stem position signal is fed back to the printed circuit board assembly. After processing, the I/P drive signal is stabilized, the nozzle back pressure is stabilized, the output force of the actuator is also stabilized, and the valve stem position is no longer changed.
Fisher DVC2000 intelligent positioner features a high performance non-contact valve position feedback system that avoids wear between the stem and positioner and extends part life. The positioner uses a two-stage design, with the preamplifier providing a high static gain in response to small changes in the input signal, and the power amplifier delivering enough air to the actuator to achieve dynamic performance with minimal steady-state air consumption. In addition, DVC2000 series digital valve positioner supports HART protocol communication, and through the local display LCD screen and buttons to set, support multiple language interface, easy to operate.
